Reporting and working closely with the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Administrator is an integral role, supporting the team to support the business. You will be part of a diverse, dynamic team helping to deliver payroll to over 950 colleagues, resolving their queries, and ensuring upkeep of our data and systems.
- **Payroll Administrator Responsibilities**:_
- Prepare all payroll data for the Payroll Bureau to include new starters, leavers, mat & pat leave etc
- Administer and export data from T&A system in preparation for import into Sage
- Check weekly clock cards resolving issues with department heads where needed
- NMW/NLW and NI checks and amendments
- CIS preparation
- Deal with payroll queries
- **Payroll Administrator role overview**:_
- When you join us (depending on your experience) you’ll start on our inhouse training journey, helping to ensure smooth processes for set up of starters and leavers across the business.
- As you progress with us, you’ll be able to deliver processing of end-to-end payroll, handling customer queries and helping to support statutory processes at key times of year such as minimum wage increases.
- You’ll even have the opportunity to receive funding to complete further training if desired.
- **Payroll Administrator skills and experience**:_
- 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, outlook etc
- Able to work under pressure to deadlines set
- Ability to work within a team aswell as working under your own initiative
- Level 3 CIPP or equivalent desired
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
