Role responsibilities:
- Manage production planning
- Produce and present production calendars
- Follow up and monitor all orders in production
- Identify issues in procedures and come up with possible solutions
- Update management on status of production
- Assisting in ensuring a lean manufacturing procedure
- Place orders for all production procurement
- Build strong relationships with suppliers
- Create and implement a new system for ordering
- Involvement in factory budget
- Manage inventory system
- Production and manufacturing experience
- Good people management skills
- Strong understanding of production principles and systems
- Willing to take ownership of the department
- Excellent communication skills
