You will be joining the Product Surveillance team who oversee all Post Market Surveillance activities and manage all product design change projects. Working closely with Research and Validation teams, we ensure our products remain state-of-the-art and ensure their performance, safety and quality is always maintained. This includes identifying opportunities for product improvement, implementing production process changes to increase efficiency, sourcing new suppliers and materials to improve costings, reviewing and editing product materials to ensure compliance and clarity, presenting concepts to our colleagues and distributors, and coordinating product change projects through to manufacturing and launch.

A Day in the Life:

- Managing design change projects to see the launch of improved products, many of which will be classed as medical devices and therefore require a controlled pathway for development.
- Managing post-market surveillance activities alongside a team of colleagues and identifying areas for improvement or change.
- Balancing a range of different projects at one time, which requires quick thinking and multi-tasking skills.
- Confidently communicate with all levels of the business, including suppliers, customers, and distributors, gaining insight into the user experience of our products.
- Provide administrative support for the design change process.
- Conduct market research within the medical and technological fields and summarise in readable and informative copy.
- Host meetings and presentations both in-house and externally to showcased new developments and improvements.

What you’ll need:

- Proven initiative and ability to champion a project from concept through to implementation _(we don’t expect you to arrive fully qualified, just willing to get stuck in and learn on the job)._
- Strong creative, analytic and organisational skills.
- Excellent relationship building skills.
- Experience with creating copy and writing high quality papers or reports, which feature technical or complex information.
- Analytical skills, enabling you to organise sales and feedback data to identify trends, present that data within reports and draw sound conclusion.
- Some knowledge of the medical device industry and the requirements for design control is definitely a plus, but not a must-have.
