Credit Controller Competitive Salary 37.5 hours per week Stoke on Trent
We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to work within our clients Credit Control team. You will be proactively managing your own customer portfolio (over 800 customers) and completing the end-to-end credit control process for a multi-million £ledger.
Main responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and releasing customer orders held at Credit Control, liaising with the Sales Team if issues arise.
- Allocation of customer receipts.
- Collecting outstanding balances, efficiently and effectively via different communication methods and channels
- Managing your ledger with a strong element of commerciality and risk awareness
- Resolve queries and disputes with all stakeholders to ensure timely payment.
- Build rapport with a range of stakeholders, including customers and the sales teams.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years Credit Control experience or evidence of transferable skills.
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- IT literate (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Strong work ethic and ability to overcome barriers
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to work with a 'can do' attitude
- Keen eye for detail
