We have some exciting opportunities available at Barking and Dagenham College. We are looking for motivated, learner
- centered and outstanding **Student Learning Mentor,** for this full time, term-time only (36hpw, 38 wpy) opportunity.
Reporting to the Tutorial Delivery Manager, you will provide support to learners (individually and in groups) to focus on their learning and study skills, enabling them to achieve their full potential and progress successfully from the College to HE or employment. To provide operational support to the Head of Learner Experience, as appropriate, and to work with colleagues within the Tutorial Delivery Programme flexibly and as required. Focusing on one-to-one learning conversations with learners on an agreed cycle, prioritising intervention for students at risk of underachievement, low attendance and/or failure to complete their programme of study.
You will be responsible for the progress, performance and wellbeing of a caseload of students taking all measures necessary to ensure they meet and then exceed their college target.
