Our Garden Centre Team are looking for a confident and efficient Retail Assistant who will provide our Customers with a positive shopping experience both face to face and on the phone. Each of our staff are given responsibility for specific areas of the Garden Centre, such as Pets, clothing, gifts or garden furniture; which brings variety to your job role and allows you to develop product selection and ordering skills.

Primary responsibilities of this position include:

- Operating the Till and accurately handling customer transactions
- Creating new shop displays and merchandising existing ones
- Assisting in the plant area with merchandising and maintenance as well as helping Customers with their choices.
- Taking responsibility for your own specific section of the Garden Centre; to include assisting the Manager with selecting and ordering stock.

Our Customers range from very knowledgeable to those who are new to gardening; but all of them are enthusiastic and passionate about their gardens.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a busy and friendly retail environment. If you are customer-oriented, detail-oriented, and have a passion for plants, gardening or interacting with people, this role would be ideal for you.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
