Assistant Accoutant

Assistant Accountant £22,000 to £26,000 plus benefits
My client is a leading educational establishment with a fantastic culture. An experienced Finance professional is required to join this small finance team and play a key role in the smooth day to day running of the department. Applications are welcomed fromindividuals looking for either full time or part time (4 days a week).
Key responsibilities include:

- Processing invoices and payments
- To post credit card payments
- to undertake bank reconciliations
- To oversee petty cash
- Oversee the organisations donations and ensure gift aid claims can be made
- To support the oversight of the organisations property portfolio including dealing with external lets and other property issues.
- To provide cover for the Finance Manager and property manager
The Person
- You will ideally have previous experience of working within an accounts department and a good knowledge of working with Sage
- It is likely you will be AAT qualified or part qualified
- You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to challenge individuals at all levels of seniority
- You will either be looking for full time or part time ( four days a week)
