Plant Fitter

**Diggerland Devon** is looking for an experienced Plant Fitter who will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the ride machinery at Diggerland. The fitter will need to service, repair & maintain a wide range of machinery, including JCB & Komatsu construction plant, ensuring they are in full working order at all times.

Based at our Diggerland Devon Park, your role will involve:

- Monitoring Health & Safety of the rides and drives
- Ensuring all rides and drives (machines) are in full working order at all times
- Quickly repair any faulty machines
- Liaise with the General Manager regarding any parts required
- Managing the customer experience
- Strategic planning & development
- Complete all service and repair records accurately

**Reporting to**: General Manager

**Liaising with**:Park Manager. You will also work closely with the Operations Director to improve and maintain the park.

**Experience**:
Knowledge of small and heavy plant is also essential.

The role requires someone who is self-motivated with good customer service skills & has a flexible attitude.

You will also need:

- Knowledge of diesel engines
- A good, positive attitude is a must, as is the ability to multi task
- Analytical approach to problem solving
- You will ideally have at least 2 years experience in plant maintenance
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Be self motivated and have good customer service skills
- Work well under pressure and retain a positive attitude to customer service.

This is a full time position and the successful applicants would be required to work 5 days over a 7-day period. Due to the nature of the role, you must be flexible & able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays & special events.
