Our customer, **an American E-commerce Company,** is looking for a **Legal Billing Specialist **to work full-time remotely.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Ability to gather and synthesize large volumes of data from diverse sources across the Legal and key stakeholders. Consolidate such data into actionable and reportable metrics.
- Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple overlapping projects with tight deadlines.
- Develop, implement, and maintain reporting that increases the transparency of department (legal and non-legal) spending and identifies key spending trends.
- Vendor management experience (including law firms and other legal/public policy suppliers) is a must.
- Establish strong working relationships internally across all levels and functions of Legal and other business functions.
- Facilitate the process for sourcing, negotiating, selecting, and onboarding vendors.
- Offer analysis and recommendations with respect to alternative fee arrangement.
- Lead reporting and analysis of legal spending.

**Qualifications**:

- 4+ years of Legal billing experience both at a law firm and in-house legal department.
- Extensive experience with industry-standard legal billing and/or matter management software (e.g., Simple Legal, Legal Tracker, TyMetrics, Brightflag, etc.)
- Proficiency with Google Suite and Slack.
- A strong work ethic and high level of productivity.
- General understanding of database management.
- Project management experience is strongly preferred.
- Excellent analytical capabilities and detail-orientation.
