We have a fantastic opportunity for a Housing Officer (permanent role) 35 hours per week, salary £24,652 per annum. Working Monday to Friday (9 am - 5pm). **About the service**
Craven Mount is a service for people who have experienced homelessness, including rough sleeping. The service provides eight units at Craven Mount and 16 units at Next Steps of self-contained accommodation with staff on site 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Craven Mount is a person-led, strength-based service that focuses on the strengths and assets of individuals rather than deficits. Craven Mount is a co-produced service that works in partnership with other organisations to ensure people have timely access to the support and help they need.

**Responsibilities**:

- Undertake housing management duties including tenancy enforcement action, rent collection and recording /organising repairs.
- Carry out security, health and safety checks of scheme's buildings and equipment in accordance with statutory requirements and recommendations
- Ensure that the service’s properties, fixtures and fittings are kept clean and well maintained and that repairs are reported and dealt with promptly.
- Promote a safe and welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.
- Provide support, information, guidance and practical assistance to tenants on housing management related tasks.??????????????
- Assist and support tenants to comply with the terms of their occupancy agreement
- Identify tenants that require additional support and assist to access support as required.
- Accurately maintain property, files and records, and produce reports as required

**A valid driving licence and use of car for work purposes is essential for this role.**
