Tamil Translator/interpreter

**Tamil Interpreter/Translator**

We are looking for skilled **Tamil** Interpreters and translators. The role will involve providing interpreting services and support to clients in West London.

There will be a mix of verbal/oral and written translation.

Interpreting will take place at our own centre in Feltham and Hounslow in West London as well as **online.** Work from home is also possible.

**Key responsibilities**
- Be able to comfortably interpreter in the following settings, including but not limited to; Mental Health Settings, GP Practices, Hospitals, Dental Practices, Police Settings, Court / Criminal Justice Proceedings, Local Authorities, Schools, Councils, Solicitors, education, health and social services sectors.
- Interpret verbal communications in real time into another language with careful attention to context, meaning, tone and technical wording.
- Translate documents from English to Tamil and vice-versa

You must have a professional manner, be reliable with good time management skills, and be able to work on a freelance basis.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 30 per week
