Wedding Coordinator

**Southend Barns Wedding Venue have a rare opportunity for an experienced Wedding Coordinator to join our existing team.**

**This is the first position that has become available within our team for 5 years**

**Overview of the role**

To join our existing team of two to become three. Work with a passionate and creative team within our excellent working environment. The office is based around sales and planning, we look after couples from the moment they send an enquiry to delivering their dream day and watching them walk down the aisle.

You will be part of the couples journey, from showing them around the venue and selling them the "Southend Way" as well as guiding them with all their planning and details needed to deliver their dream day. You will work with other departments that include catering and front of house and be an integral part of the team. You will be encouraged to give ideas, be creative and be part of discussions and decisions with rest of the team.

- Exceptional communication skills
- Excellent grammar and clerical skills
- Confident in using computers, google, outlook and other industry software
- A genuine desire and passion to be part of the couples journey and excited by weddings
- An organised and methodical person
- Posseses a "do it" attitude and want to develop and evolve over time
- Be able to adjust, be clam and confident if and when under pressure
- Have an interest in social media channels, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and Pinterest and help with the in-house managing of these channels
- Be a team player, have leadership skills and at times be able to work on your own and self-motivate
- Have an eye for "Attention to Detail"

**The Notes...**
- Having your own transport is essential as we are 3 miles outside Chichester with no public transport
- The role is for 5 days out of 7 with 2 days off per week.
- Rotas are over a 4 week rolling process.
- Weekend work is required, but not every weekend and not always both days

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
