The talent team at NET Recruit are delighted to be partnering with a global logistics business who are searching for a Supply Chain Operator to join their team located in Windsor area. The company is highly successful and has built up a presence across the globe, working together with businesses across multiple sectors including aerospace, automotive, high-tech and also medical. They provide a range of logístical and export solutions for their clients and pride themselves on being able to deliver services that can address multiple needs and issues, making them a well-rounded solution.

Working within the key function of the business, the position holder will be taking responsibility for many supply chain activities, ensuring the on-time delivery of customer order deliveries. The position holder will be acting as the main point of contact within the process and when investigating mishaps.

**Your Role and Responsibilities**:

- While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:_
- Striving to build strong working relationships with both internal teams and external customers, ensuring proactive communication on delivery statuses
- Conducting root cause analysis and investigations into non-conformities with deliveries when it is required to do so
- Providing training for customers on using the company's online customer portal
- Taking the lead on periodical client update calls
- Ensuring SKU data accuracy by working with F&D planners
- Competently managing station inventory submissions and user links
- Processing orders from overseas to optimise inventory where possible
- Proactively managing urgent requests in relation to air and freight
- Doing everything possible to make sure that domestic and international deliveries run on time
- Managing the schedules for international sea freight
- Reporting on performance KPIs
- Identifying both process improvements and cost-saving opportunities

**What you will need to Apply**:
Applicants for this role should be degree educated and have excellent previous experience relating to supply chain and logistics, particularly within freight and air deliveries. Sound knowledge of supply chain processes and ERP systems is also needed to be successful in this role. It would be advantageous to possess a supply chain related qualification. Strong communication and organisational skills are also sought after, along with the ability to handle a diverse workload under pressure. Proficiency in IT software such as Microsoft Office is also highly desired.
