We have a brand new opportunity for a Residential Property Insurance **Claim Handler, **based in our Northwich Office, Monday to Friday. Not only is this a new role to RMG - it's a brand new team too You’ll be working along side another recently appointed **Claims Handler, **reporting to a newly appointed Insurance Manager.

**You will have the opportunity to shape this role as your own.... **drawing upon your existing claims handling and claims processing experience, you will work together to recommend, develop, introduce and embed processes, procedures and policies, **ensuring the service we provide to our clients is nothing short of FIRST CLASS**

**When the department is all set up and raring to go...... **as a team, you'll be working on claims associated with an Insurance Captive, processing claims of up to approx. £250,000. Delivering a high quality, professional advice service, you will be seeing all claims through from beginning through to completion.

**What are some of the tasks you will be doing day to day?**
- Effectively manage your own caseload of captive scheme insurance claims (from residential/domestic properties), bringing them to conclusion within an efficient time-frame.
- Advise and update clients about relevant events and discussions related to their claim.
- Regularly assess the status of claims with clients, insurers, brokers and/or their advisors/solicitors, including updating and informing them of any additional information acquired during the claims process.
- Offer appropriate technical advice to clients throughout the duration of their claim.
- Ensure your market, insurance, legislation, and other technical knowledge is up to date.
- Ensure the system is accurately updated with all relevant information.
- Ensure that claims statistics are accurate and produced in accordance with SLAs.

Over and above anything else we’re looking for self-motivated people with a positive attitude. It’s a given you will be a great communicator, and able to demonstrate empathy, whilst supporting our clients during what may be a potentially stressful time. **We're looking for.......**
- **Previous insurance claims handling experience is essential**:

- First class customer service skills, where providing a great service just comes naturally to you
- Super organisational skills, and the ability to effectively manage your own caseload of claims
- Results driven, with the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written, verbal and listening
- Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word
