The Radiation Emergency Response Group (ERG) within UKHSAs Radiation, Chemical and Environmental Hazards Directorate (RCE) is responsible for overall co-ordination and evaluation of UKHSAs emergency arrangements for radiological and nuclear incidents.

ERG is recruiting to two Emergency Preparedness Administrators covered by this advertisement The job holders will be required to work as part of a small team of scientists. The main duties and responsibilities of these two posts are broadly split between the following work areas:
Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) arrangements within UKHSA RCE including maintaining systems, training staff and the organisation of emergency exercise participation.
- Support of ERGs work with stakeholders external to UKHSA in the field of radiation emergency preparedness and response in developing arrangements and policies, as well as the organisation of emergency exercise participation and training courses.
