**Summary**:My client is an organisation in the Financial services sector. They are an organisation body working with both public and private sector. **The role**:The purpose of this role is to lead the procurement processes by influencing strategic sourcing planning and supplier contract management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Experienced in procurement policies, standards and procedures, processes and governance mechanisms
- Strong procurement experiences with at least 5 years of experiences
- Must be knowledgeable on Public Contracts Regulation
- Implementing sourcing solutions and drive through benefits realisation plans
- Planning of procurement activity including maintaining the tender project trackers for new procurement activities
- Develop and publish approved tender documents
- Ensure that amendments to contracts are negotiated, agreed and documented effectively and adhere to the Procurement Policy. Challenge and resolve contractual non compliance issues
- Support Stakeholders to improve contract management, performance management and relationship management of suppliers
- Development and analysis of Supplier Assurance utilising Supplier Health Checks to manage and mitigate risk

**What you need to succeed**:

- MCIPS preferred or equivalent supply chain qualification
- At least 5 - 8 years of procurement experience with the ability to lead the end to end procurement process
- Strong knowledge of Public Procurement Regulations and Public contract frameworks
- High knowledge of contract formation
- Category expertise in services across Public or and Private Sector
- IT Procurement is an advantage
- Having a broad mindset with high agility work ethics
- People skills with the ability to motivate and influence others with strong negotiation skills
- Able to manage stakeholders with strong communication/interpersonal skills with building key relationships
- Curious, willing to learn and a team player with motivation to succeed
