**Lingo Learning Centre is looking for a Functional Skills Tutor to deliver English and Maths ONLINE.**

You will be employed for approximately 20 hrs per week (depending on tutor’s availability) to deliver Functional Skills English and Maths online sessions.

Predominantly, the role of a Functional Skills Tutor will be to provide inspirational teaching and learning to adult learners via online learning sessions.

This must be of a high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.

**Personal criteria**:

- Presentable and professional appearance
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work to quality standards
- Very good command of the English language
- Desirable: Ability to speak other languages than English, for example Polish or Romanian.

**Educational criteria**:

- Teaching qualification e.g. CELTA/ Certificate/Diploma in Education or equivalent or willing to work towards within an agreed timescale.
- Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths
- Desirable: experience in delivery of Functional Skills: English and Mathematics

**Dispositions**:

- Ability and willingness to work flexibly
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Approachable
- The capacity to communicate effectively both verbally and in the written word at all levels
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Ability and willingness to work flexibly
- Willing to complete external work placement visits
- Ability to work mornings/ evenings/weekends, if required
- Possess a current driving license or willing to travel if required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £16,000.00-£18,000.00 per year
