Opus Vitae are actively recruiting for a **Warehouse Supervisor** for our client based within the **Knockin** area.

**Working hours**: 45 hr Monday - Friday 8:30am - 18:00pm (30 mins unpaid break)

**Experience we're looking for...**
- Previous experience in Supervising or team leading.
- Ability to efficiently lead a team, delegate, supervise and keep staff motivated
- Ability to learn new systems and changes to processes
- Proactive in improving current processes
- Fully PC literate across different platforms (Google suite and/or experience using Current RMS is desirable)
- A ’can do’ attitude and solution oriented mindset.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and organise workload
- Reliability and dependability
- Full driving licence
- Forklift licence
- Knowledge and use of Current RMS
- Any industry standard qualifications (plant tickets, H&S, first aid etc)

**Your daily duties will include...**

Responsible for 5-10 Warehouse Operatives, ensuring a safe working environment and supervising and reporting the effectiveness of warehousing activities and performance. Assist the Warehouse Manager and liaise with HR, where appropriate, in managing employee relation issues effectively.

Maintain company standards & Health & Safety procedure. You will have previous experience in managing/supervising staff in a warehouse environment.

This role best suits upbeat and self-motivated individuals who enjoy working systematically and productively. It is a fast paced and energised environment which relies on organisation and efficiency.

Numerous cloud based IT platforms to streamline processes and communication across departments and clients, therefore a good grasp of IT and a self-starter type of attitude is preferred.

The Warehouse Supervisor will be reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager. Daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Assisting the Warehouse Manager with the running of the warehouse operation
- Ensure your team are 100% compliant with our H&S, warehouse & cleaning procedures, processes and quality standards
- Supervise all warehouse operations
- Communicate job expectations clearly
- Ensure all employees are working to the required standard, address poor performance and conduct if required in a professional constructive manner
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, despatching and assuring quality of goods.
- Ensuring daily productivity targets and service levels are achieved
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Give regular feedback to the Warehouse Manager regarding any areas of concern and suggested actions
- In the absence of the Warehouse Manager, to lead and take full responsibility for all aspects of the department
- Communicate with relevant departments and project managers
- Be flexible to alter shifts where applicable if required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,500.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
