Roles and Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with the class teacher to guide and support teaching and learning activities, making sure that the holistic development of children is maintained at a high standard.
- Provide personalised assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), implementing established programs, adhering to specific guidelines, and encouraging independent learning.
- Establish effective communication and cooperation among teachers, parents, and colleagues to strengthen the connection between the school and home.
- Under the teacher's guidance, actively observe, assess, and document students' work, and contribute to the implementation of behaviour management strategies consistent with school policies.
- Take on various general responsibilities, including active involvement in staff meetings, overseeing children's well-being, managing administrative tasks, and offering support in curriculum-related duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant NVQ2 or equivalent
- Experience working in a classroom
- Minimum 1 year experience as a teaching/ classroom assistant
- Current knowledge and comprehension of education practices and procedures pertaining to the welfare, safety, and education of children
- Ability to create positive relationships with both children and adults
- An adaptable, motivated and emotionally resilient team player
