Yorkare Homes is currently recruiting for an **Area Decorator** to maintain the buildings to high standards in all of the Homes across the group.

- Overview of Job Description:_
- To maintain and upkeep the buildings to a good order in liaison with each Home Manager
- To deal with the general maintenance of the building interiors along with occasional exterior work
- Preparing surfaces, stripping, filling and leveling. Sanding, masking, priming and painting surfaces. Hanging wallpaper.
- Responsible for monitoring stocks and supplies of consumables and equipment at each home.
- In alliance with the Area Maintenance Manager, ordering/purchasing supplies where necessary or alerting the appropriate channels of the deficiencies.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records and documentation
- Ensuring the safety of staff and residents as well as yourself at all times

Payscale - £13.40 per hour

This role will involve travel - a vehicle will be provided.

Experience in a decorating role is required.

Experience of a Care Home environment would be advantageous.
