VoCoVo is a rapidly growing telecoms company, providing an integrated software and hardware solution to some of the biggest names in retail - with customers across the globe. We are now looking for an Assistant Buyer to control the day-to-day purchasing of parts and services to the business, whilst ensuring the supply of goods into the business is managed effectively.

**Responsibilities**
- Support the Purchasing Manager (as well as independently) in negotiating product ranges - cost pricing, additional terms, exclusivity, distribution, stock availability
- Work closely with other departments to understand risks, opportunities and forward planning
- Conduct market research and report on movements in price and changes
- Identify and assess new supply options for current and upcoming purchasing requirements
- Arrange and attend supplier meetings in order to analyse and discuss supplier performance, as well as gain knowledge of the full portfolio of products and services offered
- Analyse internal purchasing processes and suggest improvements to ensure continuity of the department’s performance
- Write, place and track purchase orders
- Plan, monitor and maintain suitable inventory levels

- Understanding of cost and financial impacts
- Effective written and oral English language skills
- Chinese language skills are desirable but not essential
