Hours - 37.5 hours per week

Fixed term for 18 months

Due to the development in the Cardio-respiratory services at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust we have an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 apprentice. We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who likes science, has attention to detail, and loves working with people. You will receive practical training in how to deal with cardiac patients, and how to undertake basic cardiac diagnostic procedures such as ECG and ambulatory monitoring, as well as other clinical skills.

The apprenticeship will commence in September 2023 and last 18 months. It will include 20% structured off-the-job training before the end-point assessment takes place and you will achieve Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Science. You will also be part of a fantastic team delivering amazing care for cardiac patients in Bradford.

- Experience of working in a customer service setting or delivering care
- Able to work under pressure
- Good level of literacy and numeracy
- Basic Life support skills
- Able to analyse data and problem solve
