Are you a self motivated, initiative led individual that is able to prioritise, multi task and work at a fast pace? If so, consider joining our supportive and dynamic Programme team to deliver a multimillion pound Neonatal expansion programme that will see the transformation of our neonatal service and staff environment.
The post holder will provide exceptional administrative support across the complex Maternity and Neonatal Redesign programme (MNR); working closely with programme colleagues to maintain the programme milestones and deadlines. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of a major Capital programme and build relationships across a large group of internal and external stakeholders.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will have experience in delivering admin to the highest of standards; with a focus on time management, attention to detail and effective communication. The post holder will be expected to manage the programmes diary, including creating agendas and producing accurate minutes.
The post holder will be expected to manage a small project; working collaboratively with the Programme stakeholders and within the expected timelines. Post holders must be confident in presenting and using their judgement to resolve challenges.

Training and qualifications

Essential criteria
- Higher level education or equivalent experience gained through work in a similar / administration role
- Evidence of good written English.

Desirable criteria
- Formal Administration / Management Qualification

Experiance

Essential criteria
- Experience in / ability to arrange meetings, time-outs, conferences and training events, liaising with multiple organisations
- Problem solving abilities
- Experience of developing and maintaining administration systems and procedures
- Ability to use to a high standard Microsoft Office, including Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook
- Experience of budget management, including the oversight of a budget forecast

Desirable criteria
- Experience of supporting and managing Projects and Programmes of work
- Previous experience of working in a hospital / health care environment

Communication

Essential criteria
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Evidence of negotiating and influencing staff, colleagues and external agencies
- Ability to prioritise
