**Hours**: 22.5 hours / week (part-time)

**Shift pattern**: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, 08.00-16.00

**Salary**: £23,362 - £25,368 per annum (pro-rata)

**Holiday**: 35 days per annum (including public holidays) (pro-rata)

**A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Maintenance Assistant**

Reporting to the Facilities Coordinator, you can expect your working day to include the following:
**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**
- undertake maintenance tasks acorss buildings, grounds and equipment.
- to complete tasks identified as part of a planned preventative maintenance programme.
- to undertake routine inspection and maintenance of Retail premises (15 shops, warehouse, Café and Railway)

To succeed in the role of Maintenance Assistant you will need the following qualities and skills:

- Good working knowledge of statutory and mandatory guidance, e.g. health & safety legislation, technical standards etc, normally gained through experience.
- Full UK Driving License
- Team working skills as well as lone working
- Effective communication skills
- Effective organisational skills
