**The Opportunity**:
Join our team as a skilled **Manufacturing Fitter**, where you will play a vital role in producing high-quality products for the confined space and petrochemical industries. This position involves working on a diverse array of products, including but not limited to diesel and electric breathing air compressors. We are seeking individuals who are dedicated to manufacturing products to the highest standards and are eager to enhance their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assemble and fit a diverse range of products, including diesel and electric breathing air compressors.
- Conduct small fabrication work and prototyping.
- Maintain and repair high-pressure cylinders feeding breathing air trailers.
- Operate hand and power tools, such as grinders and drills.
- Ensure that the workspace is maintained according to 5S principles.
**Required Experience and Skills**:
- Previous experience working under manufacturing environments.
- Mechanical background will be advantageous.
- Proven ability to read and interpret P&ID and basic mechanical/electrical drawings.
- Experience with 12/24 volt DC electrical systems.
- Excellent organizational skills within a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Skilled in high-pressure pipework up to 300 Bar will be beneficial.
- Welding skills (MIG/TIG) are highly desirable.
**Schedule**:
- Day Shift - Monday to Friday
- **Monday to Thursday**: 6:30 AM to 4:00 pm; **Friday**: 6:30 AM to 12:30 noon.
