HR Coordinator

**HR Coordinator**
£25,000 to £28,000 per annum
37 hours per week
Hybrid role
- working from home with one or two days on site.

**Main duties and responsibilities (included but not limited to)**:
- Work with the Recruitment Manager to support the implementation of new HR systems and work collaboratively to develop and improve company processes
- Oversee the pre-employment check process for new starters across the company, coordinating the work of the HR Administrators to ensure that checks (e.g. DBS checks, references) are processed efficiently and that an excellent level of customer service isprovided to new starters.
- Ensure that all HR transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner, working closely with the Payroll Team; this includes the setting up of new starters, processing of variations to contracts, leavers and reviewing expiring fixed term contracts.
- Contribute to the promotion and monitoring of equality and diversity across the company to ensure confidentially of HR information at all times and comply with health and safety policy.
- Any other duties that may be requested by the line manager to facilitate the smooth running of the Group
- Work closely with the Payroll Team to resolve pay queries raised by staff.
- Build strong working relationships with hiring managers and senior managers to keep them updated with the pre-employment checks for their new starters and HR transactions within their area.
**Key skills**
- Demonstratable experience in HR administration
- Sound understanding of the employee lifecycle
- Experience within an educational environment would be advantageous
- Experience with HR CRM systems
- CIPD Level 3 and above desirable
