Optimas is currently searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Customer Services & Purchasing Co-ordinator for our site in Droitwich. The vacancy is currently maternity cover for a minimum of 6 months fixed term contract, 37 hours per week.
This position reports to The Engineering Services Manager.
- Customer liaison with respect to; enquiries, sales queries, quotations, orders, samples
- Controlling the purchase of production and non-production parts
- Liaison and co-ordination of details with other departments to ensure customers’ requirements are always met
- Purchasing of raw materials, sundries, and factored products
- Negotiating with suppliers to ensure competitive prices through benchmarking existing costs.
- Understand, develop, and promote the Company’s business objectives and participate with total enthusiasm and commitment to achieve and exceed them
- Ensure that you fully understand your work requirements and duties and highlight any training needs and requirements to enable you to undertake your duties
