Grove House are known throughout North Yorkshire for our superior interiors, created by skilled craftsmen. We pride ourselves on quality, from the design process, selecting the best sustainable timber, through to production in our Thirsk workshop and finally the attention to detail given to installing of our bespoke furniture designs with those finishing touches, that really make out clients vision come to life.

We are proud to work with only FSC approved timber suppliers, allowing us to design sustainable kitchens.

We need an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team making bespoke kitchens and furniture in Thirsk.

We are looking for someone who has a pride in there workmanship and enjoys making furniture.

You will work as an important member of our workshop / assembly team, you will need good hand and machinery skills along with knowledge of furniture construction and materials.

We work to high standards and expectations from other member of our team and our clients.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a machinist/joinery apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision

Our normal working hours are 7-30 to 5pm Monday to Thursday with 15 minute morning break and 30 minute lunch beak.

And 7-30 to 12pm Friday with 15 minute morning break. Optional overtime on Friday 12-30 to 5pm

21 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

Wages are negotiable dependant upon knowledge and skills, along with attractive quarterly performance bonus.
