Winder Fitter

**Allstaff Recruitment** are currently seeking a **Winder Fitter** based in **Gloucester **for an industrial pump company.

**Salary**: £15.50 - £17.00 per hour
**Location**:Gloucester
**Type of Contract**: Permanent, Full time
**Hours**: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Fridays 8:00am - 1:30pm

As the **Winder Fitter** your role will involve the following important duties:

- Dismantle, rewind and reassemble of conventional single-phase and three-phase and small AC/DC motors and associated equipment including pumps and gearboxes.
- Testing and detailing of AC/DC electrical motor winding.
- Connection and testing of winding.
- Preparing all reusable parts for rewinding and inspecting renewed parts for hidden, or unusual conditions.

As a successful **Winder Fitter,** you will have the following:

- Mechanical time-served and indentured to ONC & HNC, NVQ or equivalent qualifications.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Full Clean UK Driving licence.
- Experience working with pumps, gearboxes, motors and fans.
- Overhead crane and forklift licences.
- Water hygiene qualified.
