**Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) Coordinator**

**Contract Type**:Fixed Term Contract (1 year)
**Salary**: £33,883 - £37,409 per annum + £1,865.92 monthly allowance

**Could you provide crucial specialist experience in the field of Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC)?**

The Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) on the coordination of CVA-related activities and in delivering the Cash Strategy designed in line with their existing Cash and Voucher Assistance Preparedness programme.

**About the Role**

The Cash Voucher Assistance (CVA) Coordinator will support the SARC to continue building their capacity and organisational readiness to deliver CVA as part of their programmes and response modalities. This will entail the provision of strategic and technical guidance, and oversight to SARC in embedding and rolling out the institutional competencies, systems and procedures to deliver CVA as part of the response operations across the whole organisation. The post-holder will be embedded within the SARC CVA Unit and will support SARC on the coordination of CVA-related activities in line with “strengthening movement cooperation and coordination” initiative, this will be done at both strategic and technical levels.

**About the team
As a member of the International Directorate you will be part of a directorate responsible for BRC’s international humanitarian response and disaster management, support to resilience programmes and organisational development of our partner Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies around the world. The work of the International Directorate also includes humanitarian policy and advocacy activities and upholding and promoting International Humanitarian Law. British Red Cross' international work is carried out in coordination and partnership with the International Red Cross & Red Crescent Movement.

**About the Person**
- You will have proven technical experience within cash assistance, including the provision thereof
- You will have experience of designing and implementing cash assistance and market-based interventions in relief and recovery contexts
- You will have the ability to analyse both quantitative and qualitative data and interpret information to communicate to and persuade decision makers / different audiences, both written and verbal
- You will have experience of working with the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement
