Our client is a PE backed SME business offering a niche specialist electrical contracting service within several commercial industry sectors. This service includes the delivery of electrical installation projects including decommissioning and planned andemergency maintenance and interim support.

The leadership team have a clear growth strategy in place which will be driven by an innovative and proactive sales approach alongside collaborative alliances with specialist OEMSs within key markets and supporting customer electrical compliance initiatives.

Recent growth has led to this role of Part Time HR Manager (3 days a week approx.); working closely with the MD, Leadership team and Managers to support with all HR issues; Policies, Procedures, Training, Development, Employment Law, Recruitment, Onboardingto help shape, enhance and maintain company culture. The HR Manager be CIPD qualified or part qualified, will have good knowledge of employment law and will be a 'hands on’ and flexible HR Generalist Professional who is comfortable in a small, growing businesswhere they can add value to the business.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Build a HR Strategy for the business
- Communicate Company Core Values
- Administer compensation and benefit plans
- Assist in talent acquisition and the recruitment processes.
- Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics and help resolve individual issues that may arise.
- Development and implementation of human resource policies and ongoing review.
- Organise regular employee performance reviews.
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form (HR Data).
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, advising on terms and benefits and supporting team building activities.
- Ensure compliance with labour regulations.
- Apprenticeship management.
- Employee Handbook and literature management

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven experience in an HR Role
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labour laws.
- Strong ability using MS Office etc.
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving.
- BSc/BA or equivalent in Business administration or other relevant field
- Additional HR training will be a plus
