**Job description**:
Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the financial, technical and contractual control of domestic and commercial property claims. Your focus will be on ensuring that we deliver great customer outcomes whilst simultaneously ensuringclaim costs are properly managed.

You will manage a wide range of building repair projects, liaising closely with clients, customers, colleagues and our supply chain. This will require time spent on site as well as within our office environment and visiting members of our supply chain.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Allocation of projects to supply chain (in excess of £5000) - to include issuing purchase order along with corresponding claim specific documents
- Managing cost control on all designated projects
- Attendance at site meetings/complaint visits as required
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Providing technical advice to members of the claims department to aid their handling of property damage claims
- Regularly review claim progress
- Proactive management of WIP to ensure that claims are moved through to completion as quickly as possible
- Collation of the required documentation to complete the final account - to include weekly visits/meetings with contractors either at our office or theirs
- Submission of final account documents - to comply with client requirements
- Offer support and assistance to any other operational role within your skill set to ensure the successful running of the operational unit.

Position Specific Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills
- Technical Property Claims Experience
- Experience in a similar role
- Basic understanding of IT systems such as the Microsoft Office package is preferable as the majority of our information is shared electronically in order to comply with GDPR.
