**My client is looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven SHEQ Advisor with NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications to join their team. If you have knowledge and experience in a similar position this could be the role for you.**

**Benefits**:

- Salary up to £27,000 depending on experience.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Deliver timely and sufficient response to requests for expert health safety and environmental advice across the business
- To proactively identify health safety and environment risks and to propose improved solutions to help ensure they are adequately controlled
- To ensure incident investigations are co-ordinated and effective in line with corporate and legislative requirements through gathering essential information, analysing, identifying root cause and contributory factors and making suitable recommendationsto prevent future incidents
- To develop as required, policies and procedures that provides information and guidance to the business on Health Safety and Environmental Issues
- Assist in developing and implementing the company health safety and environment management system
- To keep up to date with changes to developments in health, safety and environmental legislation and other requirements that affects the organisation and wider industry
- Assist in the development, effective monitoring, collation and reporting of management information as detailed within the Groups HSE plan
- Provide transformational leadership and coaching on health safety and environment at all levels of the organisation including the development and delivery of training and employee briefings
- To provide regular communication throughout the organisation to promote a positive health, safety and environment culture
- Undertaking site safety tours of operatives, service providers and field based managerial staff providing expert HSE advice
- Assist with the collation, recording and ensuring closure of all non-conformances raised from site audits, incident and premise audits
- Deputising for SHEQ Manager as required

**Skills & Experience**:

- Construction and/or Utilities background is essential
- Must hold a NEBOSH General/Construction certificate or equivalent
- Member of IOSH working towards GRADUATE status
- Relevant experience in a similar role or other role involving the management of health, safety and environmental in high-risk environments
