**Job description**:
Defence Supply Chain Operations and Movements (DSCOM) is a 1* Military Headquarters within the Joint Support 2* area of the Defence Support organisation. DSCOM is a joint organisation comprising a mix of military, civilian and contractor staff based mainly at MOD Abbey Wood, Bristol. The role of Supply Chain Operations will deliver (Reverse) Supply Chain ((R)SC) optimisation and coherence from Strategic Base (SB) to Far Bank in order to support global deploy, sustain and recovery activity in accordance with Defence priorities and be enabled to control SB Outload activity and ensuring Value for Defence.

**Person specification**:
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to;
- Co-ordinate and regulate the outload of materiel and equipment to support the Strategic Base Outload Plan (SBOP) / Baseline Activity Current Operations (BACO).
- Provide Consignment Tracking and visibility of the totality of materiel flowing through the forward and reverse supply chains in support of Strat Base Outload, exercises, enduring and contingent operations, PJOBs and deployed units.
- Management of Task Issues of materiel to support BACO and SBOP.
- Liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
- Management of Special Operation and Exercise Codes for Defence.
- Utilising Support Performance Management Information data, carry out analysis of deployed units inventories and supply chain behaviour to identify and improve supply chain performance where required.
- Assure and co-ordinate Theatre Priority Lists (TPL) for forward and reverse supply chains.
- Act as SME on all matters relating to Forward SC/RSC performance and coherence, inclusive of the capture and promulgation of Lessons Identified.
- Conduct exception management and manage scarcity.
- This post may be re-deployed within DSCOM to support the priorities of the FLC deploying Force in line with trade and grade.
