**IT Support Engineer**

£25,000 to £28,000 + Excellent Benefits
This is a fantastic opportunity for you, an experienced IT Support Engineer / 2nd Line Support Engineer / Desktop Support Engineer, who is happy to take on additional IT Administration duties, to join a world leading company based in High Wycombe.
This position is approximately 80% Support, 20% IT Administration
As the IT Support / IT Administrator, you will provide a point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the organization's end-user computing environment.
**IT SUPPORT**
This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all end-user devices and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Duties include:
- Basic PC imaging and profile setup for new computers
- Basic software installations and deployment to PC' s
- Patching of network devices
- Monitoring of helpdesk tickets and managing escalations to required IT teams or 3rd parties
- General user account administration on various systems
- Mobile phone administration
**IT ADMINISTRATION**
You will also be responsible for financial administration such as purchasing of IT equipment and the processing of monthly invoices and purchase orders for the IT department. Duties include:
- Managing monthly recurring invoices and contract renewals for IT including software and hardware maintenance renewals
- Managing procurement if IT related equipment including purchase order requisitions
- Maintaining accuracy of records in Active Directory
- Assisting in helpdesk and Cyber security related reporting
- Recording purchased licensing details
**ABOUT YOU**
In order to be successful for the IT Support / IT Administrator position, you should have:
- Strong IT Support skills - Desktop, basic networking, software installation, administration of MS Office and similar
- Good communication and written skills
- Strong organisation and happy to take on the IT Administration skills
- Good team member - happy to muck in and really help the smooth running of the dept.
