We’re hiring for an experienced **CNC Turner** to join a global manufacturing company based in **Gloucester, **who currently produce components for a variety of industries including Aerospace, Pharmaceutical, Motorsport and Oil & Gas**. **You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating the CNC lathes and will be working on machines.

**What’s on offer?**
- £30,000 - £33,000 per annum + overtime
- Double days Mon - Thurs 6:00am - 2:00pm, Friday - 6:00am - 11.30 / Mon - Thurs 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Friday 11.30am - 5:00pm (38 hours)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Training will be provided

**What will you be doing as a CNC Turner?**
- Ensuring documentation is completed fully and accurately when performing any duties on the shop floor
- Carry out quality checks on products and record the information accurately
- Making suggestions on how to improve the processes in relation to production quality or manufacturing time
- Meet production and quality criteria on a daily basis
- Maintaining a high level of housekeeping standards in any area you operate
- Assisting in training and mentoring new operatives and apprentices
- Ensuring Health and Safety regulations are followed
- Carrying out additional reasonable duties as required by business needs

**What do you need?**
- To be able to demonstrate at least 3 years’ experience in programming, setting and operating CNC lathes in a fast-paced production environment
- To be able to program, setup and machine a range of features on parts such as tapers, spiral grooves, chamfers, and radii to name a few
- To be familiar with setting and operating bar feeders and selecting the correct tooling to machine required features
- Knowledge of machining composite materials is advantageous
- To be confident in the use of standard hand-held inspection equipment with knowledge of CMM and Shadowgraph
- Experience of working in a target driven production environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
