MCJ Fabrications Ltd is a leading supplier of Architectural Fabrication Services. Specialists in stairs, balustrades, balconies and secondary metalwork. Experience in this area would be advantageous but not essential. We operate from buildings which provide'state of the art' drawing studios, workshops and office, along with excellent space for transport, storage and distribution. Our management team have vast experience in the design, production and installation of a wide range of architectural metalwork projects,and we have a workforce of qualified and experienced operatives.

**Job Purpose**:

- Preparing cost estimates from detailed drawings
- Communicating with MCJ’s buyer and suppliers to keep up to date on cost of materials
- Following up on quotations to convert into sales
- Dealing with a range of order values from £1000 to £1million
- Supporting the business to achieve its targeted annual turnover
- To ensure that any variations or changes to contracts are identified and brought to the Clients attention and any related costs charged accordingly.
- To ensure estimates and costings are carried out professionally and on time.

**Particular attention**
- Ensuring any contract variations are identified and accounted for.
- Ensuring that the company’s reputation and high-quality working relationship with clients is maintained and developed at all times.
- Ideally have a good technical understanding of products to advise clients and deal with queries
- Must have experience with producing quotes / estimates withing the construction industry
- Possess strong customer service skills, a team player and organised.

**Hours of Work**

39 hours per week Monday - Friday, plus whatever time is necessary to ensure that the management of sales and estimating is carried out in an efficient and timely manner. The job role does require travelling to sites nationwide for meetings and overnightstay will be required if necessary.
