Trainee Asbestos Surveyor

**Description**
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Asbestos Contracting Ltd as a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor.

**Salary**: £22,000 with significant increase on completion of training (usually 6 - 12 months)
Working Hours: 40 per week
Days: Mon
- Fri
Over 21 due to insurances with a full driving licence required

You will also be required to undertake some administrative duties as part of your role, so you must have good computer skills, in particular Microsoft Excel.

Job Specification

Assist a lead surveyor/analyst (shadowing) when carrying out all aspects of a surveys and inspections
Learn approved methods and current legislation
Work to progress through training programme to become an authorised surveyor
Represent ACL in a professional manner at all times
Communicate and co-operate with both internal and external customer
Carry out administrative duties as required

Person Specification

Essential

Hands on experience of using tools and technical equipment
Computer skills
Full UK driving licence
Excellent interpersonal skills, including first rate customer service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Initiative
Team player
Desire to learn

Desirable

Experience from a construction background or similar
CSCS Card
