We are looking for someone who is hardworking with a cheerful disposition to join the Chemotherapy Scheduling team in the Headland Unit at the Royal Cornwall Hospital. This is a developmental role starting as a band 3 and after 6 months there would be potential to take on line management duties and move up to a Band 4.
To deal with all new patient chemotherapy / anti-cancer treatment referrals from clinicians.
To plan patient treatment and unit capacity efficiently making sure target treatment times are being met. Making sure pre assessments are booked and that any scanning is completed
To manage waiting lists, deal with changing priorities and working in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining focus and being flexible and adaptable.
To liaise directly with the patient regarding their treatment and any queries or concerns they might have.
Other administrative tasks set out by line manager.
