Depot Supervisor

**Streetwise UK Management**, part of **RSK Group**, is looking for a **Depot Supervisor **on a **full time, permanent** basis to be based at our **Leeds depot **in** Birstall**.

Streetwise UK Management is a former family-run business that has been recently acquired by RSK Group. We are a provider of both high and low-speed traffic management and event solutions to blue-chip companies, major utility providers and public sector organizations. Our focus is to manage road networks to reduce congestion, disruption and changing travel behaviour.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Allocate staff to both 12d & 12ab works ensuring correct qualifications are held by the operatives carrying out the tasks
- Create Traffic management plans in line with Chapter 8 2009, Safety at Street Works and TSRGD 2002
- Receiving, planning and programming of reactive work orders from contracts managers
- Create and distribute tasks via our paperless system to the operatives out in the field
- Ensure that the depot is sufficiently stocked to dictate the upcoming workload
- Ensure all stock and assets are used efficiently
- Perform monthly stock takes and record findings
- Report loss and damages of equipment and assets to relevant contracts managers
- Ensure staff are mobile and on-site using our state-of-the-art tracking system
- Building and maintaining solid working relationships with clients
- Work with the other depot supervisors to ensure resources have been allocated to deliver the programme from other depots
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently
- Any ad hoc duties as required by senior management
- Support office/invoicing manager with invoicing
- Working with Contracts Managers for any adjustments and additions to live traffic management schemes

**Person Specification**

**Essential**:

- A full UK driving licence
- Experience in traffic management
- Excellent knowledge of Chapter 8 & TRSGD
- Project planning background
- Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills in dealing with clients and colleagues
- Works well under pressure to meet tight deadlines

**Desirable**:

- NRSWA M7
- 12A Foreman
- Bricscad / Auto-cad experience
- Cone10 experience
