Bartington Instruments Ltd is looking to recruit a Stock Controller.

**The Role**:
Full responsibility for all areas of running a busy store from Goods In to Despatch including supervising a small team.

**Main Duties**:

- Ensure that an adequate supply of parts and materials are available at all times in conjunction with the Buyer
- Ensure customer orders are despatched on time, in full and with the correct documentation
- Ensure stock can be clearly identified and located
- Responsible for picking and issuing materials and kits to the production team as required to fulfil customer orders
- Ensure that all materials received comply with the purchase order and come with the correct paperwork
- Ensure that all stored materials are clearly identified and stored properly so as to maintain quality and integrity
- Manage and maintain accurate records and stock control including updating the computerised stock control system, B.O.M updates, perpetual inventory cycle counts and full stock checks as required
- Liaise support and communicate with external and internal customers and suppliers as required
- Process and resolve queries, B.O.M amendments and data as required ensuring stock accuracy
- Manage security of the stores
- Ensure the stores is kept clean and tidy and in accordance with H&S regulations
- Other duties as required in line with the needs of the role and as directed by a manager or director of the Company
**Skills and Experience**:

- Be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Good level of English and numeracy
- Must be accurate with excellent attention to detail
- Methodical, organised, able to juggle tasks and prioritise
- Flexible approach to work
- Experience of managing a busy store in an electronics manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Sage 200
**Hours and Salary**:

- This position is full-time for 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Salary £25,000-£30,000 dependant on capabilities and experience
