**Job Description**:

De Beers Group Brands and Consumer Markets is a 'frontline' department that engages directly with key opinion formers from around the world. B&CM works across all aspect of the business, and the job holder is an important member of a highly focused team that deals with some of the most challenging issues facing De Beers and the diamond industry with supporting senior management team and taking ownership of day-to-day finance management and operations within our business units.

**Finance**:

- Take ownership for accounts receivable function
- Perform Brand Marketing finance operations ensuring costs are correctly and consistently coded adhering to compliance regulations for audit purposes whilst supporting projects are also tracked at the right level
- Support Finance team on the planning process across Brand Marketing ensuring expenditures are appropriately budgeted and phased.
- Support Finance team with doing accruals, half year and end of year balancing and reporting, ensuring compliance regulations and procedures.
- Support, guide and update Brand Marketing cost centre managers on the reports and requests, providing analysis where required
- Being responsible performing operations for raising and tracking departmental capex budgets
- Responsible for problem solving by flagging, researching, and clarifying any unusual transactions/ questionable invoices/recharge costs.
- Supporting virtual merchandizing issuing purchase orders and stock management with supporting logistic operations.

**Administration**:

- Supporting and performing diary management of the Brand and Consumer Market SVPs, but not limited to, with arranging internal/external meetings/workshops and international/domestic travel.
- Assists with Project Management of various programmes within BCM, as and when required
- Support with agenda, create PowerPoint deck, record sessions, take minutes/actions then add them the company project management system
- Organisation of special internal/external events
- Reconciles company credit cards for Managers and support to the wider team.
- Qualifications
- Experience as a PA and a team administrator, coordinator, or office manager.
- Experience of having worked in media relations, marketing, or extractive industries would be useful, but not essential.
- Good working knowledge of conventional computer software packages and ability to learn bespoke packages used by the Department.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, MS Teams, Concur, Asana and SAP admin tools.
- Background in marketing not essential but advantageous.
