**ROLE SUMMARY**

As Logistics Coordinator you will have overall responsibility for Shipping, handling and tracking of all Company assets throughout the lifecycle of global project utilisations and asset storage. You will support mobilisations and demobilisations, ensuring documentation is compliant with latest industry and legislative guidelines. Key duties and responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

- Shipping/transportation; liaise with freight forwarders to ensure the global shipping of assets is efficient and cost effective
- Documentation; ensure all necessary mobilisation/demobilisation documentation is completed and available to relevant parties. Ensuring offshore personnel complete the required documentation during any system demobilisation and provide support where necessary
- Plan and control goods and documentation in conjunction with Workshop Supervisor and Supply Chain Lead
- Coordination of hire and repair items, ensuring items are tracked on the company’s BMS asset module
- Material stock checks, ensure accurate material reports are maintained and produced to enable identification
- Produce shipping paperwork (manifests/invoices) in compliance with HMRC requirements in conjunction with Asset Support Lead
- Picking, packing and expediting of goods
- COSHH and dangerous goods management and packing for road and sea transport
- Export Compliance; ensure the required export licenses are valid and correctly applied to any commercial invoice. Ensuring goods are correctly imported and exported, keeping accurate records, and ensuring compliance with the latest Custom legislative guidelines
- Oversee the Company’s electronic inventory system, record details of work any carried out along with asset movements
- Forklift operation; load/unload equipment from containers to method of transportation
- Attending necessary training courses to satisfy all current training legislations requirements, i.e. HMRC etc.
- Creating purchase orders on the Company’s BMS and working closely with vendors to ensure the efficient expediting of goods and services
- Contribute and monitor efficiencies (cost/lead time, quality etc.) through consolidation purchasing and planning requirements
- Identify and appoint new or potential suppliers
- Attend risk assessment and safety meetings surrounding Company activities, in particular base work. Production of documentation (where applicable) relating to tasks such as risk assessments and procedures, which may also include updating existing documents
- Provide support where necessary for other members of the Supply Chain Team
- Undertake any other duties as the Company may reasonably require.

**QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum 5 years logistic experience
- Knowledge of HMRC Legislation
- Understanding of supply chain protocol
- Competent in the use/shipment of Dangerous Goods
- Import/Export experience preferably in the subsea sector
- Working knowledge and experience within a similar field
- Full UK Driving License
