Maintenance Technician

**The Company**:

- The company is a leading manufacturer of sustainable packaging including plastic and rigid paperboard, offering packaging solutions to the industrial, consumer and healthcare markets. Who are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the team payingup to £31,000 pa depending on experience.

**Job Title**:

- Maintenance Technician

**Job role of the Maintenance Technician**:

- Within a team, ensure the proper functioning and optimization of automated installations (mechanical, electrical, automation, etc.). Ensure curative and preventive maintenance interventions in compliance with cost/time, health/safety/health/food safety/qualityand environmental protection requirements.
- Maintenance of production facilities: Identify the conditions and methods of intervention from the technical file. Design, adapt and/or implement facility modifications and document them. Operational support and assistance to production teams
- Curative Maintenance: Diagnose the cause(s) of the malfunction found on the installation. Perform troubleshooting. Return the installation and workstation to a sustainable operational situation in accordance with QHSE standards and in coordination withproduction.
- Preventive maintenance: Implement the intervention schedules to carry out checks and/or scheduled interventions in accordance with the defined operating procedures and optimize preventive maintenance actions.
- Continuous improvement: Analyses technical data and identifies causes of malfunction in order to propose improvement solutions.
- Quality, Environment, Safety, Health, and Food Safety: Follow and ensure compliance with Quality, Environment, Safety, Health, and Food Safety instructions and report malfunctions. Store and clean equipment and environment after intervention. Know and complywith company rules and standards related to QSSE requirements.
- Management: Record in the GMAO his interventions as well as the releases of spare parts from the store. Propose potential improvements or evolutions of equipment or maintenance methods. Inform the production and the quality department of the work in orderto coordinate.

- Identify and propose continuous improvement actions aimed at making equipment more reliable

**Skills & Experience**:

- Electricity, electronics, mechanics, industrial computing, pneumatic, hydraulic, drawing/drawing reading, office
- BAC PRO, BAC + 2 Electro Mecanique, Maintenance, production engineering, industrial engineering
- Split, Mechanical 60%/Electrical 30%/Automation 10% (don’t need programming skills).

**Working Hours**:

- 2 shift system, double days, 5 days. Roster published 15 days in advance. 20% of the year, they move to a 3-shift system, (nights) An extra €20 a day when working nights.
- 5am-1pm/1pm-9pm/9pm-5am

**Salary**:

- £29,000 - £31,000pa depending on experience
