**JOB ROLE: Senior Support Worker**

**LOCATION**: Bryn Awel, Brecon

**SALARY**: £12.60 to £13.20* per hour

**SHIFT PATTERNS**: 08:30-21:00PM & 21:00-08:30AM

**Please note, Bryn Awel is due to open late this summer. Training/induction for this role will be carried out between 3 homes within a 25 mile radius - It is ESSENTIAL you are able travel for induction before starting regular shifts at Bryn Awel.**

At Bryn Awel we provide residential support for 6 adults with Mental Health needs. We work with people with varied abilities/needs to encourage and motivate each person to feel good about themselves. We enable people to gain confidence and do the things that are important to them and ultimately to lead happy and fulfilled lives.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support of the people within the service including (but not limited to) help with personal care, budgeting, shopping, cleaning, cooking, laundry and assistance with medication. Each and every person we support is unique, so we encourage our teams to get creative, promoting each individual’s independence, choice and dignity whilst still having plenty of fun along the way.

Experience within the care sector is not essential as we offer full training, however what you do need is the enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values every day to ensure we move mountains to support people to live happy and healthy lives.
