**About the role**

As part of our Marine Physical Processes team, you will use your detailed understanding of the interaction of development projects (particularly offshore wind projects) with marine process regimes to our ongoing and future project portfolio and help expand our technical offering to our clients.

You will provide technical support to our physical processes related workstreams, managing and delivering technical assessments to support offshore wind farm development projects. You will provide technical advice in areas such as seabed and coastal erosion, and the assessment work you carry out will inform the strategic direction to our existing clients and projects. You will also work with our dedicated EIA/HRA teams to provide specialist input and advice on the interaction of marine developments on the receiving physical environment as part of the wider EIA and HRA projects.

**About you**

You should possess a working knowledge of the technical assessments underpinning marine processes work (e.g. numerical modelling, sediment dispersal, geophysical and hydrodynamic assessments etc.). Experience of working within the planning process across the UK would be highly beneficial.

Alongside this we are looking for someone with good interpersonal skills, good written and verbal presentation skills and the ability to work with clients understanding their needs but the with the ability to influence and use scientific rigour to guide best advice.
