**Adecco's** specialist Property Services & Building Safety Division are working with
**a Yorkshire based, Housing Association** to assist them in recruiting a
**Contracts Surveyor **on a temporary basis.
Offering the opportunity to work from home whilst remaining closely linked with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver a cost effective, efficient service for the groups customers whilst driving continuous improvement and ensuring value for money.

**The Role**
- Deliver high quality programmes of responsive, planned and cyclical works
- Carry out a range of surveys on all property assets including occupied, void and commercial properties, garages communal areas and open spaces, as required.
- Provide support and assistance to colleagues in relation to surveys, stock data, work specification and any other areas to enable them to deliver their part of the service.
- Complete HHSRS and Decent homes surveys, identifying issues such as security, damp and mould growth, excess heat/cold and potential structural issues.
- See all remedial works through to completion, post inspect and update stock data accordingly.
- Take responsibility for identifying and reporting defects, quality issues, tenancy issues and other items that may affect the security of the Groups property assets or the well-being and safety of our residents.
- Identify the need for specialist advice when necessary and commission consultants in line with company regulations and procedures.
- Ensure that the asset database is maintained to reflect an accurate assessment of the Group's stock condition and completed improvements.
- Provide technical support and advice to other departments and residents concerning all aspects of repairs and maintenance.
- Contribute to the preparation and prioritisation of the maintenance, improvements and service charge budgets.
- Liaison with tenants, care agencies, etc. in respect of works ordered and deal with customer complaints and attend tenant liaison meeting outside of core hours.
