Parts and Service Desk Associate

We are a fast growing Motorcycle dealership that has been in business since 2008. We service and support a wide range of motorcycle and scooter brands, we are the south coast main dealer for Piaggio, Vespa, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia brands. We are looking to add a dedicated parts associate who can also help run our fast growing online parts business.
The role reports to the Customer Service Manager.
**1. Main Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities**
- Source and order (with guidance when required from CSM) all parts required for Customer orders, workshop service/MOT/new bikes using the correct portals.
- Prepare pick lists for customer orders + workshop jobs
- Build relationships with other dealers to sell them parts and accessories.
- Help identify and build “packs” that can be upsold to new customers and existing customers.
- Look for creative ways to increase sales for the parts and accessories business.
- Maintain accurate stock control/levels.
- Collect and Deliver Bikes/Scooters using the company van as needed.
**2. General Responsibilities**
- Monitor and manage our on line business, and prepare shipments for global delivery.
Answer incoming calls whether this be for sales/parts/clothing or service.
- Meeting & greeting new and existing customers into the dealership as needed.
- Assist with Service calls/bookings and customer updates as needed.
- Maintain and update customer details.
- Reviewing & suggesting improvements of current practices & processes.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workstation.
- Awareness of Health and Safety on site and procedures at all times.
- Represent Dearden Motorcycle Brand appropriately at all times on and off-site.
- Ensuring best site practices for keeping the site and property secure at all times.
- Any other duties or tasks as assigned by Managers.
- Processing and maintaining all warranty recall procedures and activity.
**4. Scope**
Ensure all communication and marketing efforts are in line with vision mission ambition and brand strategy.
- Working hours are 08.30 to 17.30 Tuesday through Saturday inc.
**5. Equipment, Machinery and Certification**
Clean Full Driving license required
**Salary**: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Southampton, SO45 3NQ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Education**:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
Work Location: In person
