The role will support maintaining cleanliness standards across the Health Board in line with National Standards of Cleanliness for NHS Wales and support Infection prevention and control.

To undertake all cleaning and caretaking duties in accordance with the cleaning schedule for the building. To be responsible for the opening and locking of the building and to be available to be called outside of normal working hours.

To provide a comprehensive housekeeping service in a direct patient contact area when required.
- To undertake cleaning duties in the Community clinics as indicated on the cleaning schedule.
- To complete daily and weekly cleaning of all areas in accordance with departmental schedules and specification, using appropriate equipment, chemicals and work methods. Tasks to include damp dusting, vacuuming, floor maintenance, high dusting, cleaning sanitary areas, spot cleaning internal glass as required, always adhering to the safe systems of work. This could involve cleaning in unpleasant areas i.e. public toilets.
- To co-ordinate and adhere to the cleaning programme within the building.
- To secure the building at the end of a shift.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
