Stockport Without Abuse is a highly regarded, specialist charity educating, supporting and empowering individuals & families affected by domestic abuse.

Stockport Without Abuse are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced children and young person worker, to deliver group work and workshops to children and young people. You will be responsible for engaging schools, colleges and children and young people groups to ensure a preventative and positive approach to relationships.

The post holder must be able to work in a collaborative way with partners and perform to a high standard.

The work requires a flexible, creative thinker, who can work autonomously and deliver to agreed performance standards.

**Main purpose of the post**:
The Children and Young People’s Prevention Worker is responsible for the delivery of strength based, person centred support package to enable children and young people to find their own solutions and make positive changes to their lives. The role will facilitate support and co-ordinate access to information, other resources, groups and services that will provide children and young people with a quality experience throughout their contact with Stockport Without Abuse.
